Why choose SLV-PRO

Why BUY The PRO-SLV Arm or Calf Sleeve?

NO-SLIP GRIP FEATURE- This added feature dramatically increases customer satisfaction for two key reasons.  First, You will not be constantly pulling your sleeve back up your arm, a common distraction with cheaper athletic arm sleeves.  Second, This added rubber membrane provides a reinforced seam around the top of the sleeve. While sleeves commonly end up breaking around the top and bottom openings when pulling the sleeve on and off; with our sleeve, the top opening is reinforced assuring a more durable, longer fit.
All-direction compression - Our fabric is manufactured so that it has unlimited directional stretching capabilities, providing even compression in all directions, unlike woven fabrics.
Moisture Wicking - We use a fabric combination that wicks sweat away from your body, keeping you cool in the heat and warm in the cold.

Anti-Bacterial - Our fabric is also anti-bacterial. This is not only healthier and cleaner, but it also leaves your compression sleeves smelling better for longer periods of time, and decreases odor-induced stains.

B-Flat seam technology - instead of utilizing the cheaper “common” stitch in our compression sportswear, which creates that annoying, bumpy, itchy seam on the inside of the sleeve, we use the more expensive, but far more comfortable, flat-seam technology. This seam dramatically increases the comfort of the calf sleeve and decrease rashes caused from skin chafing.

Sewing, and workmanship quality - All B-Driven pro-SLV athletic arm sleeves have only one vertical flat seam from top to bottom, which increases its durability and comfort. We also use an expanded seam on the lower portion of the sleeve. This helps to reduce thread breakage when pulling the sleeve over the fist and increase durability even if the threads should give way.

        How does Compression work?

        • INCREASES VENOUS RETURN

        • REDUCES EXERCISE-INDUCED MUSCLE DAMAGE (EIMD)

        • ACCELERATES RECOVERY PROCESSES

        • REMOVES LACTIC ACID FASTER

        • INCREASES STRENGTH AND POWER

        • IMPROVES ATHLETIC ENDURANCE

        • INCREASES MUSCLE OXYGENATION

        • IMPROVES BODY TEMPERATURE CONTROL

        • REDUCES IN-FLIGHT MUSCLE VIBRATION FATIGUE AND DAMAGE

Everyday we get asked the same question, does compression really help sports performance?

        HISTORY
The science of compression wear began over 80 years ago, when it was first introduced to the medical industry as a treatment for venous disorders, mainly in the legs. Nearly 30 years later, in the 1960’s, compression sportswear was introduced to the athletic industry and over time has become almost a staple of any athlete's gear bag.

        OBVIOUS ADVANTAGES
Most all compression wear have the characteristics of being light, stretchable, and fit tight to the skin. These combinations provide overall comfort during performance activities that cannot be replicated with other sportswear. Being light has obvious advantages. Fitting tight to the skin prevents it from getting in the way during activity and being stretchable allows activity to be non-constrictive. Sports compression garments also provide an extra layer of protection against abrasions such as turf rash or minor cuts and scrapes; others have a level of UV protection. While these obvious advantages are reasons enough to wear compression sportswear, there are many scientific studies, which show great, medical advantages from the use of compression wear.

        SCIENCE ADVANTAGES
Oxygen is a key component to just about any activity and the level performance ability. When your body is involved in strenuous activity, it needs to move oxygenated blood to the muscle and then remove the de-oxygenated blood back to the heart. By adding compression to the body, particularly to areas like the legs and arms you can help your body improve its blood circulation rate. Some studies have shown as much as a 40% increase in circulation during and after activity. Better blood circulation has been found to improve:

        MUSCLE ENDURANCE
Better circulation helps increase the needed oxygen support during strenuous and longer activities, which can lead to a decrease in exertion. Less exertion means competing at a higher lever, for a longer period of time.

        PERFORMANCE
Studies have also shown that speed, acceleration, muscle explosion, jumping, and even muscle strength during activity can increase with the added benefits of compression. While the level of performance increases’ varies among athletes, there is no disputing that many of todays premiere athletes believe strongly in this technology.

        RECOVERY
One of the biggest advantages of compression, may just be the benefits it has on recovery. Many studies have shown results of reduced blood lactate levels and reduced swelling. These results can lead to faster recovery, getting you back into action quicker. They also can lead to less stiffness, soreness, and quicker warm-up times after recovery.

        INJURY
Compression has shown benefits in reduction of venous reflux and pooling, decrease in pulled muscles, less cramping, injury healing promotion, and a decrease in muscle vibration which can lead to muscle exertion, bruising, and swelling.

        SUMMARY
While compression will not make you the next super star if you don’t have the talent, consistent use can provide many added benefits from comfort, performance, and recovery.
